Building relationships with Expertise at Every Step
I bring hands-on expertise in new home design, construction, marketing, and sales—helping regional builders navigate every phase of the homebuilding and selling process with confidence. As a trusted partner and active member of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA), I understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing builders in our local market.
From strategically positioning your product and brand to effectively marketing new construction communities, I work to attract the right buyers while setting clear, realistic expectations throughout the sales process. My integrated, builder-focused approach helps reduce risk, streamline communication, and create a smoother experience for both builders and buyers—ultimately protecting your reputation and supporting stronger sales outcomes.
Lender Services
Understanding the Lending Process — and How I Guide You Through It
Buying a home starts with financing, and having the right lender can make all the difference. When you work with me as your Realtor, I connect you with some of the best, most trusted lenders in the industry—professionals I know will communicate clearly, close on time, and advocate for your success from start to finish.
A lender is a financial institution or professional who provides the funds needed to purchase a home, with the expectation that the loan will be repaid over time, along with any applicable interest and fees. Choosing a knowledgeable, responsive lender is critical, as they play a major role in your purchasing power, contract strength, and overall experience.
Mortgage Lender vs. Mortgage Servicer — What’s the Difference?
– Mortgage Lender
The mortgage lender is the bank or financial company that approves and funds your home loan. They evaluate your financial profile, determine your loan options, and issue the mortgage used to purchase your home.
-Mortgage Servicer
The mortgage servicer is the company that manages your loan after closing. They handle monthly payment processing, escrow accounts, and send your mortgage statements.
In some cases, the lender and servicer are the same company. In others, your loan may be transferred to a different servicer after closing—this is completely normal and does not change the terms of your loan.
Why This Matters When You Work With Me
Not all lenders are created equal. The lenders I recommend are proven partners who understand our local market, new construction timelines, and the importance of meeting contract deadlines. This helps ensure a smoother transaction, fewer surprises, and a more confident path to closing.
My goal is to make the financing side of your home purchase feel clear, organized, and stress-free—so you can focus on finding the right home.
Title Work
The Title Company is at the epicenter of the process and can make or break the deal for you. Some but not all of the tasks the Title Company is responsible for are:
– Perform a 60-year title search
– Attempt to resolve any title issues
– Conduct closing
– Act as the escrow agent
– Prepare the deed
– 1031 Exchanges
– Checks taxes
– Check HOA balances
– Record the deed
– Disburses all monies in accordance with the ALTA Settlement Statement (98% of the time, the file is recorded and disbursed within 24 hours of settlement. Title Companies are allowed 2 business days, but very few take that long).
– Purchasing and selling a home is one of the biggest decisions a person makes in their lifetime. Choosing the right title, settlement, or escrow company can make all the difference. Ask me about my preferred title company.
Relocation
1. What is a relocation specialist?
A relocation specialist is an expert who manages the details involved with relocating to a new area. These specialists work nationwide and worldwide, to make moving as painless as possible. A relocation specialist will help you through every step of the moving process, from selling your current home to closing on a new one.
2. What services does a relocation specialist provide?
The exact services a relocation specialist provides will depend on who you use, but there are some services that almost any relocation specialist will provide.
The biggest tasks that a relocation expert will handle are selling your current home and helping you rent or buy a new one. They will handle the time-consuming paperwork involved with buying and selling the property and keep you up to date on the status.
As a relocation expert I can also help with the logistics of traveling to your new location. This includes everything from helping you book travel to ensuring that you have the proper passport and visa, travel insurance, immunizations, and so on. If you have pets, they will help you figure out the best way to get there.
If you have kids, I will help you enroll them in school. This can be particularly helpful if you’re moving late in the summer or during the middle of the school year.
These services will also help you with grunt work that relates to your new home. If contractors are doing work on your new home before you arrive, your relocation service can be there to supervise.
As, your specialist will also help with other tasks related to your move, like finding a moving company and services to pack and ship your things.
Home Renovation
Home Renovation Strategy for Investors
Start With ROI in Mind
Before swinging a hammer, define your exit strategy. Are you targeting first-time buyers, move-up buyers, or luxury resale? Every renovation decision should be driven by resale value, speed to market, and neighborhood comps — not personal taste. Focus on improvements that maximize appraisal value and buyer demand.
Prioritize High-Impact Updates
Allocate budget to kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, paint, lighting, and curb appeal — the areas buyers notice first. Clean lines, neutral finishes, and functional layouts sell faster and reduce objections during showings and inspections.
Smart Exterior Improvements
Curb appeal drives traffic. Strategic landscaping, exterior lighting, fresh paint, and a well-maintained entry can dramatically increase perceived value without major cost. Outdoor living features — when aligned with neighborhood standards — can also boost resale appeal.
Control Costs. Increase Margin.
Every dollar spent should support resale value. Avoid over-improving beyond neighborhood standards and stay disciplined with scope and timelines to protect your profit margin.
If you’re working on a flip that isn’t aligning with market expectations, I can help. From evaluating renovation scope to connecting you with reliable contractors through my concierge services, I help investors position properties to sell quickly and for top dollar.

Most homebuyers start the process anxious, excited, nervous, and some are downright terrified.

The person standing between it being a huge financial mistake or a valuable asset is you, the agent.
